be like it is
hidplanet referral ftw  welcome over :)

there is a projector that swaps into the tyc light pretty much directly...i think its the valeo 2.5" single d2s. on the other hand, i cant remember anyone swapping a projector into the ebay halos...the inside is tiny, if i remember right.

plus add in the cost of the tycs ($200) vs oem headlights ($100 used) and there a hundo you'd have left over just by going oem.

also keep in mind the aftermarket projector lights are kinda "aggressive" so they'd look out of place on a stock accord.

search the "members rides" forum or the whole forum for pics...there's lots around here...

Red Ryder, is that the stock housing with HID's? I may be anal about it but I refuse to let my g/f drive a car with HID's in a reflector housing lol. My mazda 6 comes with projectors but even knowning how crappy the stock projectors were i threw them in the trash and put in TSX projectors on my 6. I'm thinking TYC's and I'll test how they look with the projectors that come with them with HID's and then i'll toy around with retro-fitting another set of projectors if i'm not happy enough with it. Now if only I could find a set of TYC's for less than 200 bucks.

oem blackhouse or oem retrofit
I say.. do blackhouse and get hids in the oems and try it out.(aim it down so it doesnt blind other people)
If you dont like it make a retro out of the oems.

Well those are sold so it looks like I'm not getting the TYC's. My only problem with doing a retro on these is I have no idea what people have used for the shrouds or holding the projectors up.

Hoping someone here can answer this for me, how big is the reflector part of the headlights? I'm thinking I'll do either a FX-R bi-xenon or TL retrofit just need to figure out if they'll fit.
