pulling fenders isnt a requirement tho, i had 18x9.5 in my rear with 6mm spacers and i didnt have to pull at all.. that brought my offset from +35 to +29 and i had no problems at all
there is another guy on v6p with a 7th gen and he refuses to pull at all with his wheels so u can try that, just get the tire size right and u dont have to pull the fender, most ppl just do it to fit wider tires

dude i am so tempted to do it the car will be on air suspension only thing im missing is a camber kit. anyone recommend a good kit. ? Maybe i will buy one wheel for now and try to see how it will fit and go from there. if i am succesfull i will order the other 3 if not im only down 90 bucks.

I would say this is definitely possible.
I'm running 18x9.5 +25 all around now, and I can imagine fitting bigger. Just know that you will need alot of work to get them to fit- I have rolled/pulled fenders and am running -4* camber in the rear and -2.75* in the front. And know that you won't be able to do full lock turns either.
