I have seen a few 17's with +42 offset and seems like they sit pretty flush. Is anyone running on a 18x8 + 42 on a lowered 4 door? looking to pick up some 18" tenzo type m with the red lip

Not an expert here, but just .02 based on my experience.

I'm on 17x7.5 +40 and mine stick out too much. If the rims you're talking about were on my '00 sedan - by my math - they'd be sticking out even more by about 4mm. (a +6mm delta for the wider rim; -2mm delta for the offset differential).

Maybe he's on stock height lol.

But Topher, if you have like a mild drop (1.5" to 2") and set the camber to the range of maybe 0 to -1.. it'll sit flush. Just guessin' though :D
