i got my `225/35/19 falken's for $700 shipped all the way from florida to hawaii. that's cheap. it depends on the size you're looking for. as the person above mentioned, 215/40 is an uncommon size so it'll cost a bit more. the most common sized 19 in. tires that are for our cars are 225/35, 235/35, and 215/35. 225/35 is perfect cause it's not that big or wide as compared to a 235/35. the 215/35 will give you that "rubber band" look and you also give up ride comfort.

Well like I said, I got my set of 18" tires sent to me for $350 shipped, your 19's are twice as much. It all depends on if youre willing to spend that money on tires. For $700, I would definately make sure my car is perfectly aligned so I wouldnt have to buy new tires for a while. Just sayin'

what i forgot to mention is it also depends on the tire brand. i priced around some 18's in sizes that i considered when i thought about getting some 18in. wheels. prices for you and I differ because of our geographical locations. in most cases, pricing 19in. tires for me on tirerack and discounttiredirect totalled to $1000+ to get them shipped to me. i don't have the luxury of having "free shipping to the continental U.S." like most of you. as for 18in. tires, $350, sounds like a deal but what kind of specs does the tires have when talking about treadwear and traction?

Tire prices in Hawaii are outrageous. I was just pricing a set of 215/40R18s and was told that the cheapest set they had would run me over $600. Granted that this was from Sears, and not an online quote, but you get the idea.
