Hey! new here hi everyone! I got a 1998 Honda Accord EX Coupe Automatic V6 with about 329,000 on it i really love this thing and just out of curiosity would like to know how much longer it's going to be around for or until major repairs might come up (trans). I'll either post a scanned picture or type what to my knowledge has been checked/repaired/replaced so you can get a better idea of where the vehicle condition is at!. Thanks again

Also would like recommendations on mods or things i should look after! thanks

Things that need to be done/fixed

-Drivers side heated seat dosen't work < please advise me on this and if possible anyway i could check wiring to fix it.

- check engine light is on (o2 sensor) is it necessary to get this replaced?

-Clock illumination bulb needs to be replaced

-Change cabin air filter

-Fill windshield wiper fluid dash is lit even if windshield fluid is topped up (not a big deal but any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

-get ignition switch replaced (recall) just to be safe

-think of getting a a transmission cooler! not sure but again just advise me if this makes sense

Wow! Unless you notice any major problems I wouldn't worry about what's gonna go next. Just keep performing routine maintenance

if you don't treat your car well, anything can go wrong, especially your tranny at this mileage. However, I know somebody who has a 97 5spd accord with over 530k miles...

Punctuation. It's a good thing.

If the car drives fine than your biggest potential problem (tranny) is not in the near future. The more mentionable things to watch with these cars are clogged EGR port/cat (will trigger a CEL), bad main relay, and the ignition (for which there was a recall). None of those are super serial.

Also of course check your air filter, rotors/pads, tires/pressure, oil, coolant, tranny fluid, etc., if you just got it.
