Re: 1BAD6's 400+whp Turbo H22 Build (UPDATE 11-25-10: Dyno vid & Graphs...Page1!)

Agreed. No comparison between F23 and H22 considering that H22 pistons, rods and heck, even fully race spec built long/short blocks can be bought right off the shelf whereas F23, everything is a pain and a half since its more of an economy thing. Not to forget an extra cam for the H22 and a world of a difference between the two heads :lawl:

As for the OP's numbers are concerned, i agree. H22's fully built can produce a lot more than 475. But then again, he is using a stock head so the numbers are pretty sweet in regards to that.

PS: Highest HP on the forum was i believe that one guy who sold his car with H22 turbo that made 500+whp. Can't really remember his sn though.

All of the above are why I like the H Double Deuce. Although my pistons were special ordered and I had to wait for them to be made.

The head probably won't stay stock too long, but I'm still deciding. And this is still my daily driver so I'm pretty sure that 475whp is MORE than enough...I'm still trying to fathom that kind of power in a car that came with 130 something whp from the factory...wow! It seems that even with the stock head, I'm very close to the highest whp numbers that have ever seen a 6th gen Accord daily driver. There aren't many 500+ hp Accords driving around so I'm excited to be in that kind of company:badger:

Thanks for following my threads everyone and Shahid, your title is safe bud...there's only 1 2010 ride of the year! Well done and congrats!

I would say let the head be. You are already making more power than you will prolly ever be able to put on the ground. Haste makes waste which is why I am not sure if i want to cross 400whp or not. I have ordered a few more things but not sure if they will ever get to be installed lol
And yeah to think a car came stock with around 93whp... :lawl:

We'll see. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to upgrade something...I've still got that itch and above 3rd gear, I'm sure every hp will come in handy. I do know that I'm getting a new ignition system (MSD distributor cap and ignition box, Nology wires) and polished TB (mostly to make the engine bay look better) in a few weeks, but I'll see what I feel like after that.

Congrats on some impressive numbers! (Again) Also the dyno graphs look amazing especially the curves as far as wtq and whp. You got a great tuner, seriously, a/f, and everything has a great smooth line, no dips or anything! That's a rock solid tune right there.

Great work!

It's very interesting to see the difference in torque between the H22 and the F23 when going for big numbers... The F23 is a torque monster!

Either way, great numbers for the H22 especially stock head!

it has been proved time over time that nology wires dont do ****! so i'd suggest not to waste your money on it. I have them, its silly tbh.

And i agree with the F23 being a torque monster. Though me and you are about 100whp apart, the torque, not so much

Wires are wires, nology won't do much for you...

I wanna just drive out to New York and come see the thing before its gone....

But it's interesting to see the difference in the F23 H22 torque differences, even you and me are fairly close in whp, but still have difference in torque due to different tunes.... Just really cool to see the different tuners, graphs, and results, even though its all the same overall idea...

I know, I know..... well being that its winter season, kind of tricky now, but if you got your car next season I should try to head out there...

Sorry OP for thread jack.... VERY Impressive numbers for the H22!

Thanks so much for the compliments man!

The tuner at Mainstream Performance is ridiculous! He is his own company and Mainstream has him come in and tune their customers' cars...the guy is awesome.

I'm completely sold on the F23's torque...it's absurd. The H22 may put out higher hp numbers, but the F23 beats it hands down in the torque department! None of the F23's on here have the hp my H double deuce does, but none of them have turned up the boost to 19psi either, yet almost all of them have about the same or more torque...even on lower boost. I say again, the F23 is a torque savage!

I agree...we're about the same in torque.

Check my last posting fellas...I said upgrading wires would be mostly for looks. I don't expect (or need) to get any gains out of them. I just like a nicely put together engine bay. The wires would really just be to make it look good and something else to put on my build sheet for car shows.

Yeah, what the hell man?! LOL. I'll actually be visiting my friend in VA in June so if you guys are serious, I'll make the extra few hour drive to NY (my birthplace) and pay y'all a quick visit.
