so i got some quote from some mechanics and body shops and they said its gonna cost at least 500 and another said 2,000...... so looks like im going to get rid of the car sine the value of the car according to kbb.com is 2,000 since i have so much mileage on it .... so this is why i will be parting out

Dude... what looks mangled is the passenger tension/caster arm.. That does NOT cost $2000 to replace.

Go to a junkyard and unbolt one, then bolt the replacement on your car. 3-4 bolts and a few washers. Remember the position of the washers before you remove the arm. You may need a torch to get the nuts off usually they are rusty. That is all. Cake.

My thoughts exactly. There is no way that should even cost $500 .. wait .. isn't that driver side not passenger ?
