There are other amps out there for cheaper that'll perform just as well/better Www.Audioque.com Audioque 1200d mono amp. $250 shipped 1200x1 @ 1ohm 870 x 1 @ 2 ohm It won't take much to get those type r's loud.

I got it for cheap on a guy on craigslist so i'm not really worried now. I just like how it still pushes 1000 @ 2 ohms and 1000 @ 4 ohms. I'm pretty sure it should be stable power for my speakers.
