2002 Accord Sedan in DC

Hey guys I just purchased a 2002 Accord and its my first honda as well as my first car. So far I've been happy with it, but I want to make it my own and spruce it up a bit while still keeping it legal.

I've got an idea of what I want to do already but cant wait to hear from you guys. Would upload pics but its in the shop getting worked on and I'm sure you all know what a black 6th gen accord looks like anyway

So I hope to pick up some great tips from you guys and look forward to getting to know you guys.

Underspoilers and/or lowering it

I'm already going to tint it and getting an OEM Factory rear spoiler and I know I can legally do that, just dont know if the Underspoilers is in violation of state laws regarding modifying bumpers to reduce effectiveness in a crash

Don't worry about a front lip or lowering it man. The only thing that will really get you in trouble is motor work or tint.

bolt-ons should be ok in terms of smog
lowering... uuhh.. is DC really anal abt those things?
tint.. yeah, just keep it within the legal limits

well I got to school and work around DC but live down in Southern Maryland in the countryish, so they are pretty anal about pulling over cars that dont look boring. My friends civic has been pulled over countless times though his tint was illegal and he wasnt the safest driver either
