blob eye is my favorite years. good choice. im getting the 2011 WRX in sept hopefully. im thinking maybe i shoudl've gotten the STi instead =T oh well...by the way im getting the hatch!! <3 <3 <3

It's my fave too. Two of the things I wanted to try next as a car enthusiast were turbo and AWD. This made it so my main choices were Evo and Sti. I really like the looks and feel of the Evo, but the interior of the Sti is what I really fell for.

but s2k is still one of the fastest N/A 4 bangers on the market. i would most likely go with the STi though...more practical. and if you don't spool then you're a fool. haha.

I loved the s2k and had a fun time autocrossing it, but on the street it isn't nearly as fun as the Sti. The boost is just addicting.

I think everyone should get a convertible for a little while. Boost will help me forget about it though.

I agree, the '04 body style is my absolute favorite.

depends what the other guy wanted an s2k for. if he wanted a weekend fun car then he got the better deal. if he wanted a practical family....2 seater coupe.....yea...haha

The s2k is going to be turned into a track only car soon. It will be competing in time trials. I will keep you guys updated with my buddies progress on it. He said he's getting a roll bar installed right away and maybe a hard top. It will definitely be getting suspension/wheels and maybe a hardtop too.

I meant more like....real world economics based on the monetary value of each car at that point in the car's life.

I'd say they're about equal, depending on the mileage. I bet both cars are worth right around $14k.

depends on the miles too. i know the s2k's i was looking at were like 9k with like 100k miles on them..the ones worth 14k area were around 80kish.

the blob eye STi's are about 14k with 50-60k miles on them...well that's based on what i've found.

Awesome trade. I've never been as crazy about S2k's as everyone else, but like that body style WRX a lot.

Not really. Although I haven't done allot with the accord lately I am still working on it. The main thing is finances. I refuse to do it second rate and have a savings account setup just for it. Once I get rid of my wife's car note we will start putting more and more in there every month.

I also have to find some very talented people in order to complete it and they are scarce around here.

it's not so much a choice as it is...going through life I want to experience both. I got my fill of the s2k and now it's the Sti's turn.

that's 260 WHEEL horse power from an STi? i never knew the stock whp on those. it does sound about right though. STi's come 305 stock hp to the crank.

the thing that is hard about posting dyno numbers is that...they are all different. my car was tuned on a dyno dynamics machine and if you look those up they read alot lower than something like a dyno jet. To the tune of about a 14-18% lower reading(depending on which dyno you compare to). In other words my 260awhp will hang if not be quicker than alot of "300awhp" cars. It's just a number anyway and ill just leave it at this. The car feels like a psycho when you get on it.

nope not really...i know the owner and he took care of it well. It was autocrossed but that's about it. It's not like he didn't do anything in it that I am not planning on doing to it.
