I answered it too. But I had 235/40's on 18'x8's for a while and they didn't rub unless I went over a big bump or had people riding in the back of my car. But I was lowered 2". At stock height you'll be fine, and if you lower the car you'll rub like I did. If you try to slam it, you will rub nonstop.

Some have said coupe wheel wells are a little wider, don't know how much validity that has though.

thx again man, this was helpful !

you shure about that tho, i had a few ppl message me saying that it will rub, im so confused, im geting mixed messages....... lol......... time for a dose of riddillin........

Yeah I'm 100% sure unless you've got some huge people in the car, you'll be fine. I've had over 800lbs of people in my car and the suspension deflected maybe .. 1" if that Lol .. I almost tucked rim though !

How much clearance do you have between the piping and RSB ? I have 2.5" pipes and a 23mm RSB, and mine's fine. If you have some clearance, maybe you can get stiffer hanger bushings or whatever they're called.

i have 2.5" pipes too,but i got the 20mm tl-s rsb, like half an inch, which is why it rubs...... =/

lol you have the same issue too, ok atleast i know its common, yeah basicly just like on yours, where the muffler bolts to the pipes is where its rubing cuz the little bolt bracket thinging is kinda bulky... i wish i had know this prior to geting my exhaust on, i would had the guys work around it =/
