2nd gear

soo I was just curious, I drive an automatic and whenever my car shifts from 2nd to third, it hops; like it over revs (like say it's suppose to shift at 3k but hops to 4-5k) and finally shifts. Is this really a serious problem that i should look into? haha

your tanny is dieing. no jokes....it is on its way out. that over revving is it slipping. its a common problem with the 6th gen auto's....i4 or v6.

you will need a new tranny soon. That's what happened to RJ. so guess it's time for a manual..hehe

On the car, I have about 135,xxx, and the tranny was rebuilt before haha. I guess it is almost time for a swap

which is a little odd for getting a 3rd tranny. unless you beat the hell out of your car, haha.

I have an I4. Well my brother was the previous owner and one day after school his tranny just crapped out of him; like the car wouldn't go past 2nd gear and just stayed there. After it was rebuilt, and a couple more yrs of driving, the car was handed down to me. yeahh I don't drive it really hard either haha.

mine does the same exact thing from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd
be really careful about it
