I actually had a friend used this, and someone who has a clear bra on his car, I believe it holds well. He drove all the way from San Diego this past Saturday. When I got the chance to see it in person, it had a kind of rough texture, it wasn't as thick as a clear bra, but I would definitely apply it to my car.

I would be worried about overspray in certain areas like uneven coating potentially. I have a white car so I think it would be hardly noticeable.:ioc:

Ooh nice. How was the overall look? Noticeable orange peel? Care to explain the "rough texture"? Did it blend together nicely and didn't leave lines as if you didn't apply enough paint and you can see the lines.(if that make sense to you)

I would like to know about this as well. Saw a commercial for it, thought it was interesting and forgot to look back into it. I would rather some one else try it first haha.

Tried out the 3m paint defender today. The stuff works great. The nozzle is a tad bit sensitive but once you get use to it, it's a breeze. Final product is pretty good. Very glossy. Mine could've came out alot better if the stuff didn't splatter but it's cool. The orange peel isn't bad at all

Do you have any pics of it?

No do not. My phone doesn't do it justic so I didn't bother. It literally looks like it's just clear clear coat.

If the 3m defender is better than the 3m clear vinyl bra protector then do it. I paid $500 and it covered the front bumper, headlights, 1/4 of the hood and 1/3 of the quarter panels.

Here is a picture of the product installed on my 2013 SI. Not Noticeable.

Anyone else tried this? Photos? Getting my front lip fixed like new and repainted, and don't think I want to cough up $125 to clearbra it again...

Its been about 6+ month since I've had it on my front lip. Still holding up rather nicely. Doesn't seem to be turning yellow or anything so that's a plus. Only thing i don't like about it is that its kinda sticky(very faint) even now. This obviously causes it to catch on dirt, etc and hard to get off without damaging the layer when you wash the car.

Picture doesn't really do much. Just looks like clear with orange peel.
Besides that, i would recommend it.
