is it true that cars with high mileage shouldnt use seafoam?? i hav been reading through many threads and couple of them said that in high mileage cars the gunk on the rings holds it in place and wen using seafoam it will remove it and it will hav problems......?????

first off i welcome anyone using seafoam but please read any and all precautions before partaking on your foaming mission. as i have been through my second engine (f23a jdm) anyhow please do not use seafoam in your crankcase (meaning pouring it through your valve cover) as it will dissolve
the head gasket inturn ruining your nice f23a1 or for those without v-tec good ol f22's engine. and only use it every 3000miles. i know everyone is dying to get more mpg which is without a doubt possible with seafoam but please do not use in oil. only through your brake booster line which is on all master cylinders on every vehicle and for those of you that do not know email me i can tell you where yours is. ***now for another secret measure that im sure most of you havent done yet... go to your local auto parts store and pickup a can of "CRC AIR INTAKE THROTTLE BODY CLEANER" and you can spray that into your intake manifold while ur engine is running (also only use half a can) and make sure you spray all the innerds of your throttle body and intake manifold. then once your done you can seafoam ur brake booster line or you can just change ur spark plugs.. i prefer to change the plugs as i stay away from seafoaming only unless i need it. and after you accomplish this mission you will definately notice a change. if anyone has any questions as to how to get better gas mileage or hp out of there f series engine or any other engine feel free to pick my brain as being i live in california where gas is outrageous as anywhere else is im allways thinking up new ways for gas sipping in my accord.

I honestly dont see the point of this product, the gains are minimal at best. This seems more like a "feel good" product, because it literally makes it feel good, but ends up going right back to how it was. My car has been running strong for nearly 160,000 miles and has never had any of this done, it runs smooth as butter and still nets me nearly 30mpg with 100% city driving.
