Thats what I did and switiching from an AEM V2 (the most expensive and overated intake on the market) I didnt feel much of a difference...a difference worth the price anyway.


^^ Honestly the the best possible intake mod you can do.

if you look closely, once you remove your resonator your stock setup functions like a cold air intake because the airbox is sucking colder air from outside the engine bay which is the area where the resonator used to be. :thumbsup:

now if youhave a high revving motor like the K20 or F20 youre gonna need to upgrade your intake so it can breathe at higher rpms, if your car redlines at 6250 , you dont need it so much. :p

i just looked around at this site.

i'll look into removing the resonator box, any pics/links?
