So, finally I'm making new thread. This is my '99 Accord CG4 iES. I bought it over 1 year ago. There is not too much done, still a stock car. I couldn't do anything, because for the first year i had no insurance. I really wanted to buy an insurance, but i had a 18000€ quotes for a year. Finally, 2 months ago I've found a way to get cheap insurance. Her name is "Niunia", in polish you can call like that a nice, pretty girl. Now you know what is my relation with a car There is a lot of things to do, but slowly I'm making it up. Engine, suspension, interior, everything stock. Now i want to lead my car to perfect condition. After that, I'll start to do mods. I don't know why all pics are in so bad quality. Tommorow I'll correct it. EDIT: Pics quality fixed. I started to paint interior, that's what i did for the moment. The headlights has been blackhoused. Few pics before and after. Wysłane z mojego SM-G900F przy użyciu Tapatalka
Re: '99 Accord "Niunia" Coupe That's one clean coupe, I never really cared too much for them but I kind of like yours. Good idea with keeping it in optimal condition , people who abuse their cars and neglect them are the worst. Congrats on getting on the road finally. Can't wait to see what you do with it Sent from my LGMS210 using Tapatalk
Great start with the car. Funny how most people here want clear headlight reflectors, and people overseas want amber reflectors. What does the switch look like for the headlight washers? Is it combined with the windshield switch or is it its own?
Yeah, that's funny. Amber lights are really wanted in Europe, other USDM parts like bumpers, especially rear lights too. You are special if you have some USDM parts I'm going to order the USDM rear lights as fast as possible, can't wait until I'll overpass other drivers and they gonna think WTF WAS THAT? A DEVIL? The EUDM rear lights are making that car naked. Few pics of interior, the headlights washer button is under the radio panel. Wysłane z mojego SM-G900F przy użyciu Tapatalka
Small update. My baby have a leak. This is how my carpet looks like This morning i took everything out but still don't know what's the source. I'm thinking about the sunroof drain. There is a roasted screw just under the plastic drain pipe, near to gas pedal. Tommorow I'll leave Honda in my friends garage. We'll see whats happend. BTW, I've found something belonging to previous owner.. Wysłane z mojego SM-G900F przy użyciu Tapatalka
Check your clutch reservoir and brake reservoir, one of the Masters could be leaking, that's pretty much the only thing that will really leak inside the cabin in the foot well. Nvm, just saw the updated photos lol Sent from my LGMS210 using Tapatalk
Did you smoke it? How was it? Since you are in Poland, I wonder if you are the same person who contacted me looking for a rear bumper? I have a spare set of coupe tail lights, headlights with the orange markers, and bumper in silver. The car looks really good; It's neat to see these 6th gens in other markets. The differences are always greater than you think at first glance. The car looks really good, interesting colour, too. And your workmanship so far is excellent. Keep taking pride and doing maintenance, and Niunia will love you back for years to come!
Welcome. Very cool. I like how the dash layout is "reversed" compared to our LHD cars. I'd check into the sunroof drains, and see if 1 or more are plugged, or have come disconnected from where they're supposed to be connected. I only say that, as that's a lot of water under the seat/floor area, and it has to come from somewhere.
