My A/C blows out semi-warm air. I was wondering what the roblems could be.
Ive charged the A/C system, and i cleaned out the fan thing under the passenger dash.
Anyone else run into this?

be like it is
your system might need a recharge. if youve cleaned everything and changed the cabin filters, you should grab a can of r134a and give it a charge. read and follow the directions carefully!!!!

^^^Thing is I did charge the AC. The only thing I havent done is change the cabin filters, but i didnt think that would affect the temperature of the AC.

well for me...i found out that the clutch on the a/c compressor burnt...cuz it use to work and i found out that it kept going on even tho i would turn it off, so ended up burning it cuz it was on all the time...so i have to replace it...luckily i have an extra from my old 5th gen(which are the same...woohoo!) so check that out

thats what i think it is, i havnt had AC since my wreck, recharged the system 2xs, it still holds pressure and everything. just blows warm ait @ 60º on the dial ( i have auto).

mine is either the compressor or i have a wire shorted out somewhere that I didnt pick up on, with my rebuild. im bringing it to an electrician soon since it started to get warm.

Is there any way I can check if its the clutch without taking it somewhere?

mine is the same as what you said...at 60 (on the auto controls) it blows out warm.

I put the temperature all the way on cold and it's just cool, but it never gets cold. With the a/c on or off, the temperature doesn't change.

When the a/c is on, there's kind of a "gas leaking" sound.

Similar problem? Anybody know what I can do?

if you have one of those "awesome" .... haha haynes manuals... the a/c section starts on page 3-12.. it was actually pretty helpful when i was trying to figure out what was wrong with mine.
