So my A/C controls just decide to stop working on the way home today. The air still blows, but NONE of the green/amber leds will come on, and it just blows straight hot air, no matter what buttons I press.
The weird thing is that when I turn on the interior lights, the actual buttons themselves still light up.

My control unit went out a few months over a year ago, and I replaced it, but it wouldn't light up with the interior. This time it lights up, just no cold air or functional buttons.

Does anyone know whats wrong? It's hot as bawls. :(

Mine stop blowing cold air last Thursday. It ended up being the fuse for the condenser fan under the hood.

Did the green/amber leds from the A/C unit stop working too?

I don't want to buy a WHOLE new one AGAIN though. I already did that last summer. This time the whole thing isn't even broken though, it still lights up. ugh. **** my car.

This is weird. I couldn't for the life of me to get it to work yesterday when it was hot. This morning (early), it worked just fine. after a few hours of driving, it decides to cut off again. only to come back on. :eh:

It has done it a few times recently, when it is REALLY hot outside. Works fine once the car is cooled down or it is early/late in the day. Does that just sound like a loose connection somewhere?

mine does it too, i had leds installed in my climate control, and now the none of the climate buttons light up, hence the ac wont activate cause the button is not pushed. i checked all my fuses and replaced my multiplexors. but the problem is intermittent, if i drive the car for a while the climate lights come back on and the ac turns on...
