could be a bad pump, but if it never made the noise before, then they put the wrong fluid in, also your upper ball joints hold the top of your wheel in place, they are connected to what is called an a-arm, but it looks kinda like a u with a joint at the middle of the u and two bolts that go into the body of the car, when those ball joints get loose they can clunk, also if left unchecked can break, and the top of your tire will fall back and smash up the fender. you need to replace the whole arm if it is loose, you cant replace just the ball joint. also when you go over bumps do you have a clunk in the front? could be sway bar end links if you do. only way to check is to take them off and drive it, but if they are still original they may get looser if you take them off and really clunk, then you'll have to replace them anyways.
