Great work man, always respected this build even though some others haven't. Can't say the exterior is my favorite, it could use some refining, but there are no qualms about personal taste and I respect that. As long as you like it and the car ripps, it's legit! Check out my updates as well when you get a chance. I'm right behind you with the F.. Soon to be right along side.
Guys remember - this is Emmino's work. Emmino does only the best... Regardless of how you may think the car looks from the outside.
All of our cars reflect our personal tastes. Agree or disagree it's still about respect, which is why I've had problems with some of the kids on this site.
In the real world though, I've gotten nothing but compliments...from the import street crowd to those who can't stand imports. I got an oil change a few weeks ago and the shop's owner remarked that he loved the looks and that it's a complete car...exterior, interior, engine, sound system. A cop complimented me the other day because he loved the look; he said it doesn't look like all the other Accords...a good thing in both of our opinions. Then it's been the most fun car I've ever driven and I used to drive for a living. When I walk into my garage and have to choose what to drive (or ride), there is no choice nowadays.
Honestly, our Accords aren't respected much in the import world. Usually at car meets and shows, no one is looking at any Accord and I used to hate that when it had the former look (a look that most folks on this site would have probably loved, ironically). I wanted to separate it from the crowd and based on the reactions I get now, I've done just that.
I'll check out your build as soon as I finish typing here. I would LOVE to see it in person, but you live so damn far! I'll be up in Virginia in a few months though so maybe you can make the trip. What kind of numbers are you expecting to put down?
The shop that Emmino works at did the work...most of it was done by folks other than he.
I got into an accident the other night with my 350z so it's forced me to kick start Project Z a bit sooner than I expected. The Accord will be my work horse for the next several months.
