Every now and then I get an e-mail from Honda's owner-link and normally I just delete them but this one had winter driving tips so I decided to read it and when I read this certain part I thought it was something to think about considering what we normally hear about intakes and such.
"When the temperature drops, fuel demands rise. Why? Many reasons. Cold engines have to work harder to pump oil. Cars heavy with ice and snow weigh more, increasing fuel consumption. And cold, dense air makes fuel less volatile so it doesn't burn as well. All this makes winter a perfect season to learn to maximize your fuel efficiency. Special winter blends and detergent fuelsmay improve the performance of your Accord while keeping more change in your pocket."
