Well I know having a Cold air intake is really good, performance wise, and reduces weight from the car, as the resonator is being replaced.
But the bad thing about the CAI is that it can easily get damaged through water, and dirt etc., from being in the lower area of the engine bay, the bumper.
I dont know what others think or suggest but, I think it would be a good idea to use a repeller spray to keep liquids off of materials, such as cloth and so on.
Im thinking of spraying a repeller for liquids onto the air filter.

Please give me feed back of what you guys think, and suggestions, or if anyone has a better idea(s). Thanks
Im thinking about this so please gimmie some ideas!

Won't make a difference. As an intake sucks air......

You can get dry bags to put over the filter or a valve for the pipes to protect from water.

CAI isn’t that good performance-wise, and won’t make much of a difference on any stock 6GA motor, except for making more noise. And you don’t need to worry about hydrolocking your motor unless you’re driving through more than a foot of water. Interesting idea, but not really necessary. Just put the intake on and enjoy it.

Aem makes a Bypass filter that goes on the intake tube, if anything that would be what you need
