Accord backfiring?

Hey, so ihave a 2000 accord v6 auto, so im getting this loud thud of some sort. Sometimes its really loud sometimes its quiet it feels like my engine is gonna drop out. I think it happens after i give a little gas and let go itd just suddenly pop. Any ideas what this could be ? Ive gotten full tune up and what not but the problem still contnues. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like your cyclinders are misfiring. Do you have any CEL? Check your spark plugs and coil packs to make sure that everything is ok.

sounds like an engine mount...

can you feel the "thud" or is it just noise?

Yeh ican feel it i like transforms into a diesel engine and pops

have the car running and put it in gear (one foot on the brake )...with your left foot holding the car still and your right on the gas, tap the gas a little and see if you can make the noise. it would also help to have the hood open and a friend standing off to the side.

if it an engine mount, your buddy will see the engine rock a lot once you let off the gas...

ahaha, no i dont have any cels ihave an srs light on though. and yah my engine rocks. Thanks for all the info guys. ima change my engine mounts hopefully thatll fix the problem.

Go with innovative mounts if you can afford it (The soft ones most likely). They have a lifetime guarantee, and won't break again like the accord ones.
