Re: Accord_J30A 2K Accord 6spd

Hey how much of a performance gain did you feel with the cl-s cams? Also do you think the other cl-s parts will help too (fuel rail, throttle body, whatever else you have)? And how much did the unichip help. These are the next mods I'm considering so you'd be the best one to answer really.

Nice car, very sexy! :)

Well tbh with the CL-S cams, you wont feel much unless you get it tuned. With unichip and CL-S cams it made me smile everytime I hit VTEC =D lol. And yes if you do a CL-S intake manifold, fuel rail/injector, lower runner and throttle body swap that would be even better but you have to get it tuned or you wont get the full gain. Im currently collecting parts for that swap right now. I think you could use a J35 parts for the swap as well since it will be a lot cheaper and easier to find. Also I believe that J35 and j32 cams are both the same, someone correct me if im wrong.

And Thanks, your ride is too.

Hmm the only part I don't want to swap over is the intake manifold. I hate how it looks on the j32. Even though I know the J30 one is very limited, I just.... can't handle the j32 one yet.

Well your only option is to port out that J30 intake manifold and throttle body. Maybe the lower runner as well?..It will be expensive for sure. But all that can be done yourself with a dremel if you can do it, would save alot of $_$.

Good Job, looks great!

Did you do the swap yourself, or have a shop do it?

Yea, the part I hate most is finding a 6spd tranny. Took me 2months lol. Most of other parts I got it for really cheap or free.
