Hello everyone,
I was able to score some near mint condition acura cl seats for $40 each. I do not know the year but it was definitely a 2nd generation 3.2 cl (I did not see type s badges if that matters).
Anyways I have been struggling to interpret this information: http://cl.acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=800446
because I think the 01 info from above is different than the 02 or 03 model cls. The colors of the wires are different anyways..
So is anyone able to provide information on how to wire up the seats with the stock harnesses so that just the switches work (no memory or heat) I imagine i would just have to tap the stock wiring coming from my accord's chassis into a select few wires or the CL harness that go to the control switches... I just dont know wire of the 20 different colored wires to tap into.. and I believe its just the solid black ones that need to be grounded.
Also, I was thinking about just pulling the battery out of my accord and testing the wires one the CL seats one by one to determine which ones control the seat position switches... Im not the best with electrical stuff so would that be a good (safe) idea?
Thank you to all in advance for any assistance you may provide. I always appreciate the support from this site.
