Okay, so I inspected my car earlier. It seems to have many scratches on the clear coat, but they do look fixable. I just wanted a few more details.

I plan on purchasing a Waxmaster orbital buffer , its a bit on the budget side but will it do the job?

Let me make sure i have this right, wash/clay bar/sand/compound/wax/polish ?

Yeah you can use DA but this one required rotary and a wool pad lol

Unfortunately I don't, but I have a car coming in tomorrow (SUV) i'll make sure to take close-ups before and after.

Orbital buffer won't do anything. It is used to apply wax. If you can feel the scratch with the nail it is too deep and some might be fixable some not. The ones that you don't feel are 100% fixable.

Wash>Clay bar(if you want to remove all contaminants, that's if your car stands outside all year long) then Polish (that's when you remove scratches) and Wax (for paint protection)

Looks good man! Come to FL so you can do mine :lawl:

Hah, pay for my ticket, I'll come :) lol

do you do all this by hand?

No, I used rotary buffer.

Great work man. I'm probably going to do my hood, roof and top of my trunk lid pretty soon. Those are the only places I really have any scratches. The paint on the sides of the car comes out near flawless after a good claying, and my front and rear bumpers were recently redone, so no need to touch those.

Mad props though, a little rep for you.
