I was weary about using a lip other than the OEM, but now that it's on, I really really like it!
Most people don't expect them to. It's all about the bulb's position in respect to the cutoff shield that makes the sharp cutoff. A properly rebased bulb is key!

I'm almost tempted to make a rides page about that one too lol.
I really liked the SPTs. I wanted to move to the MX's, but I understand they've got too much road noise, and too little tread life for my taste. All the good ratings for the SPTs are right on. They're really a great tire, and affordable as well. $95/tire and they're really unbeatable. I went back to my roots with some Pirelli PZero's for my current set, but I wish I'd gone with SPTs again and saved myself $330.

It's vinyl from a local sign shop that matches perfectly, down to the metallic flake.
