i call them rims, cuz im usually just looking at the RIM haha unless im looking at the tires too then i call it wheels

in the south they are called shoes or feet or just plain rims!lol

Shoes = The "pad" part of a drum brake.

Rims = The outer edge of a wheel

Wheel = A circular frame or disk arranged to revolve on an axis

Educated opinion would say Wheel is the correct answer

Colloquialisms would suggest otherwise, ahh I can't win!
