i cant tell at the moment because the interior is gutted so i hear a lot more than i normally would if i had my interior installed still. but tapping on the panels outside the car you can clearly hear the panel is more solid in the deadened areas as opposed to the undeadened parts.

nice deadening you got there... im also planning to do the same... about the pioneer hu, 80prs is considered as one of the gods in sound consoles, it has a lot of features used i audio competition that you cant get in the new hu... i changed my unit to a pioneer avh-p8400bh but the 80prs is still topnotch in sound enhancements... advantages of 2din is the usb, bluetooth, and dvd features. but if youre into serious music then i would suggest keeping the 80prs
