nice choice of suspension, haha, ive got the same coils. the car looks clean man. any pic of that rear trunk brace yet tho? im kind of curious about it too.
Sure, its really just a piece together job My mistake, it not really so much a trunk brace, more of a rear strut brace that is mounted above behind the rear seats so its kinda in the trunk area.
My friend bought a cheap adjustable Ebay rear strut brace for his 5th gen DX and I helped him install it. He got the idea of taking a cheap adjustable front strut brace for my car and cutting the mounting brackets from the O shape into a C shape to fit and connect my rear struts. Surprisingly, our crudely cut mounting brackets actually fits the two rear bolts for each strut, but I had to remove the rear top piece where the speakers are mounted in and I could not close my rear seats. It was fun and all for like 3 week and I decided that it was kinda stupid. I couldn't really feel a difference in handling and I wanted to use my rear seats again.
If you want to do it, I can go into more detail about the whole process.
Here what I started with, generic Ebay brace, then proceed to cut I the mounting bracket and adjust the length of the bar to fit into the rear.
lol, yea, thats cool tho dude. but thats exactly why they dont make them for our cars....cuz we dont need them due to the rear towers being part of the unibody, haha. def some nice ingenuity tho
