All Florida 6ga Meet!!

Holy crap that's a sad pic of me.. it wasn't cool to be laying in a puddle of oil and dirty water.. it SUCKED. Anyway, yeah Badger, we really were on our way to the meet when a fitting came loose from the oil feed line. Oil spilled all over the highway, there was a cloud of smoke behind us; I didn't to risk chief's car seizing up so we stopped, I fixed the broken fitting and we turned around. Out of all honesty, it's true, Brad really did try to call you several times with no luck. We called as we were leaving to make sure you were there, we called while we were at the rest area fixing the leak, and We were trying to call you even after we got back to chief's house to see if you wanted to come over and chill with us since he was only 30 mins from the meet location. Either way, I'm headed up tomorrow to tampa to get a custom oil feed line made for chief so we'll definitely be ready for the next meet. PM me your number so I can at least have it as well. I'll send your my cell number, this way if there's a meet again, you'll be able to get someone at least.

atleast the 4 of us had a good time... sorry badger for what happen... this meet was very unorganized and if someone is gonna start a meet make sure ur in state and plan on attending. i will vouch for brad he kept checking his phone every 5 mins and had no reason to ignore anyone.. joe did his best its not his fault he couldnt tame my beast...

So what the hell happened? I thought there was like 10-12 people planning on going. I was in Tennessee this weekend. I would have been there if I was in town. I say we set one up for next month if not September time. It will be cooler and this gives everyone a month or two to fix their issues and be there. I of course would like to have it here in Jacksonville instead of Orlando and maybe meet up at the beach or downtown. Anyone good for it?

raymond, i dont wanna get into anything, but could you follow my mind for a few seconds?

if you are on your way to meet up a mustang and you call him saying your on the way, then you breakdown, make a uturn and drive back. according to brad, he tried to call me, which could be true but like i said in a previous post, its all in the past.

i was stting in orlando by myself for 2 hours, and it bothers me that no one would contacted before they turned around. but they said they called me and i texted them and neither of us got it.

so raymond.........it is in the past. get over it

I love how you tell me to "get over it" when all I did was point out the fact that YOU were being rude about the situation. After hearing his story and seeing the picture of the poor guy laying in the mud trying to fix his car, my "wasted" trip wouldn't have seemed so bad. Guess we just view things differently.
