Guess I am the only that thinks there was more to the brackets than that, it's just that that was the pic he decided to share?

My problem isn't with the black bracket, but with the silver "c" brackets stacked up and holding the back of the black one up to level the seat.

As it stands, it is a candidate for a "There I Fixed It" post, but we'll see what Matt as to say when he chimes in.

Yeah crappy pictures. The brackets when tightened all the way look a lot better. That picture was just to show progress.

Everythings done with the seat and steering wheel now. I bolted the seat with locking pieces etc. The finished seat brackets etc are perfectly safe and will pass inspection no problem.

If the brackets stayed like the picture I posted is be an idiot to drive my car. Trust me everything is tight and the c clamps are smashed down with no space. The c clamps were just for resistance order to keep pressure on the mounting bolts. That picture of the bracket like I said was not the finished product just a progress picture

^See....I knew there was more to it.

Still sounds like a bit of a 'Kludge' fix, but we'll take your word for it, Mathieu.

But the c-clamps are in fact being used as risers for the back of your seat brackets?

Why would you use those?
