:eusa_doh: doh, i am stupid.

I meant the source button....

everything i stated before, but the source button, and not the big round one.

I have the same headunit also, and if i hit the source button without my ipod connected it cycles: Tuner, Disc, USB
But once i attach the ipod it will cycle Tuner, Disc, Ipod, USB.

so you've went through the function menu?
press and hold the 1st button on the bottom row next to the channel selections .. It should have the options turn on/off your source selection, I believe you want to turn on your aux but I would turn them all on just in case.

i just got this same HU from my brother, i love it ... the only prob. is that the ipod function no longer works ... the ipod function in the source display [cd, tuner, usb, ipod, ect.] no longer shows up ... and when i plug in my ipod all i get is the alpine logo on the ipod and it stating that it is "ok to disconnect" ... i spent some time last nite searching for the answer to why it's not working but came up empty ... i found similar issues but it doesn't match the description of the problem i'm having ... any ideas?

I had the same problem, so i went to the Best Buy car electrician and all he said was "Oh, well it should say Alpine on your ipod but it doesn't" I was like wthell I know that. But anyways the ipod wire didnt work so i used a USB cable that for the ipod and connected it with the usb for the deck and it worked, see if that works.
