Story was told to me today:
So a co-worker's brother (actually works in the office down the hall) just bought a house recently in hyde park NY it was on a fairly decent piece of land and it had an old shed that was all vined up locked corroded and looked like it was about to fall and no one has been in it for years. Everyone thought it was just an old shed that needed to be knocked down, it actually devalued the land that was bought. Land was bought from a young couple whose parents lived in the house but passed away more than 10 years ago
So the family has been living there for a few months. Winter passes and a few wknds ago, recently my co-worker and his brother take a weekend out because they are like "OK this shed is just an eye sore so it has to go, the kids can get a play area and what ever in that area" so they get some lock cutters and decided to open up the shed. It was dark moldy and there were these huge things under covers sitting upon cinder blocks...
Under those covers were 4 cars, a 61 ferarri 250 gt, a 1975 GTB daytona, a '59 porsche 356a, and a 70 chevy impala which was the odd one out the bunch but im guessing that if he had 2 ferarris and a porsche, the impala was the daily driver...
at first i didnt believe it till he showed me the pics... im gonna snag a pic from him tomorrow to post but it was pretty freakin sweet find... they are MINT, have been posted up on cinder blocks for YEARS preserving the suspension tires, and everything
