Re: And so it begins... 6 speed swap.

Red, you'll get a 6 speed swap one day, I know it. :D And my member's ride is going to go up.... after this summer ;) I wanted to get my 6 speed in and one other mod that I have finally put on... I was also waiting for the front lip, but I'll post up a member's ride after summer is done so I can have some vids of it with vtec and the 6 speed, as well as pictures all around. My exterior is nearly complete.

Charlie sounds good we'll both drive each others cars, however... it won't be fair for you to judge mine till I've got the harness in so that I can redline at 6.2k and have vtec. It feels waaaay better already, but It's not what it's supposed to feel like.

Thanks for the compliments and stuff guys. My car is a dream come true right now. Even waiting for that harness to come, I absolutely love driving my car right now. It feels so natural and... right.

If I could go back and start my car over again, the FIRST mod I would do is a 6 speed. Let it be known all you lurkers-and non lurkers, it's THAT worth it. Man up, and get it done. It makes your AV6 turn into an entirely different car O_O

Hey everyone... the swap is officially complete! I got Richie's wiring harness in, and my car is A BEAST now. Everything they say about the swap is true, and you socal peeps can get a taste of it if I come to a meet and give you a ride. :D VTEC is my hero haha. Once I calibrate my speedometer I'll get some videos made for you guys, I know a few of you are dying to see it. Yay meeeee!!! Maybe we can organize a little meet for whoever wants a ride.

That would be me. I'm flying out, give me your address.

haha no, congrats though man. what a transformation to experience!

btw I ended up getting the Magnaflow exhaust, NO THANKS to you not sending me photos/videos on August 22nd like you said you would! haha jk Actually I decided the Apexi mufflers were just too big for me. In other news, I'm probably going to try out that fake OEM front lip. I've got OEM rear and sides, but am not finding a front...

Alright back to worshipping you.

Lol, I gave you a pretty good shot before! Thats fine though I hear the magnaflow is awesome... slightly louder though. Please try the fiberglass OEM front... I'm really interested in seeing how it fits. There seems to be almost no point in getting the poly OEM rear lip... as it snaps in half anyway instead of just bending like it should. Just ask me and lilcharlie.....

Fly on out, I have room for you to stay for a few days ;)

What is happening that is making the rear lip snap? It's on the back of the bumper - did you mean the front? btw there's a classifed on V6P that has an OEM rear for sale, you'd just have to get it painted. He also had sides but he may have sold them.

I will probably pick up the fiberglass front next month, provided I do not find an OEM. I'll have a thread on it since so many people talk about trying it but never do...which leaves us wondering what could be...

I'd think about flyin out, but I'm leaving on Sunday for Italy for 2 weeks. :D

No we both got into accidents, and they snapped. On mine at least it should have just bent... the bumper didn't snap, and supposedly they're the same materials
