I just drove this car....it was crazy!!!! the clutch feels brand new!!!
revs to 5k tho but that's because of the harness..besides that everything seems smooth and clean..
we try some runs on the 22 and it felt amazing....then the real run came..so V6SPD (handicap) v/s I45SPD and the difference was 1 1/2 to 2 cars...
great car RJ see you saturday!

Yep like he said.... the 6 speed with no vtec, and 5k limiter beats a 5 speed o_O. I was NOT expecting that. Other then that my car's great. I didnt take any engine bay/shifter shots yet. Socal ninjas can see it first on memorial day!

That's awesome, I wish I had a v6 to begin with do to the swap. I did my swap, my car is much better than before. But I find myself getting bored already of my car

Re: And so it begins... 6 speed swap.

All said and done, with the tranny all the parts and everything... ended up being about 2200. Add on another 500 for Richie's harness when he gets it to me.

Not all that much more than a rebuild. Sorry ;)

I came out lower than I was anticipating. Now no one else better ask me the cost -_-

wow forget my last post about delayed discount thats a great deal!!! If i would have known that i would have saved a little longer and gotten the 6 speed instead of wheels.

For the record i know these things take time and i realize the level of customizing that has to take place. Overall i am impressed with how well it sounds like everything came together. Can't wait till my trany takes a dive so i can get my wife on board with this one!!!

also did i forget did you go with the lsd or non lsd trans?

stop racing things, stop chirping 2nd gear. break in the clutch first.

trust me.

i know its hard to hold back, but the wait is well worth it :p i can chirp third! LSD is awesome too.

congrats on getting everything running.

im just having a hard time believing it costed 2200 w/ labor.

Changaroo, are you saying that's expensive or a reasonable price?
Very hard to tell from your post.

Seems like a fair price to me.

People have easily spent twice that at other shops doing the 6-speed swap.
