realistically... you just look at the other dude(s) at the table and you each give each other a nod, or a roll of the eyes, or some gesture, that recognizes you both don't understand why, but accept that girls go to the bathroom together...

and then you embrace the 5 or 10 minute respite from the humiliating conversation that tends to revolve around the most recent great find in Macy's or the wonderful afternoon spent at bed bath and beyond the other day and talk about cars or sports or the date you had the night before with the 17 year old hostess at the exact same restaurant...

Then the girls come back and sit down while you and your buddy smirk like middle school boys who just intercepted a girls note and know which girl likes which backstreet boy and why n'sync sucks the most... while the girls laugh and say "they're trying to act like we weren't making fun of them in the bathroom... silly boys... now where were we... OMG did you blah blah blah..."

i dont talk about the great find at macy's the day before. when im with guys, raymond, and all his friends the convo usually revolves around jokes. and i mostly hang with my girlfriends only with my girlfriends no guys aloud hehe.

I don't know about anyone else but when I go out with my boys and my girlfriend comes, she usually calls her friends up and we all go out. Not that she doesn't like or get along with my friends, but if its a group of us she usually wants to bring hers around too. only fair right?

i get along with all of rays friends and for the most part they are super cool. but they are strickly car guys, and the only friend i have that wouldnt mind hanging out with a bunch of guys who talks about cars 24/7 is Brittney and she works every fri,sat,sun. so i usually only see her during the week days. as for my other friends, i actually brought one to a car meet once and she complained the whole time.

they might be my best friends but it doesnt mean we have to have everything in common. we have different interests and make time for each other when we arent doing our own thing(ie; school,work,hanging w/boyfriends). like this friday we are all going to lunch for my bday
