You just need replacement pads right? All of the base pads are going to be under 10 easily no matter the shop. I work at a Trek store and our base pads are i think $4 plus labor to install if needed.

I would at least just go to check out their price.

Finally got a chance to take a pic of my bike. Pretty much stock right now. I just had the bar re-taped and got the shaman pd-a530 pedals.

Nice Roger, you didn't swap out the seat yet, right?

Looks like a great bike, it's an 18spd or 21spd?

Thanx. I'm still using the stock seat. I guess I'm getting used to it, and it ain't that bad especially with padded short.

It's 18 speed.

I'm too big to rock those padded shorts(240lbs), so I did upgrade the seat.

I think I would still upgrade again though to the split padded seat.

Looks/feels more comfortable and probably better for a long ride than my current seat.

I guess once I start riding, I will lose weight and be able to wear the riding gear.

I was 200 lbs 2 weeks ago and I'm only 5'7". I'm now 185 just biking and playing basketball. So I'm pretty heavy myself. I wear the padded cycling short under my regular short, so it doesn't look that bad. Lol
