yeah i hate riding without all the gear...sometimes i wouldn't wear a helmet when riding around campus at night..but now i always 2...and gloves and shades are a must even on just cruising the greenway...i need to get a pair of clear lenses because when i was riding home from work at night i couldn't wear any and i felt helpless haha

side note..i was hoping to do an overhaul on my bike by taking it all apart and cleaning, lubing, etc...then last week the boss said no more working on our own bikes except for after hours...which sucks because i don't have a key..so whenever i want to do work somebody else has to stay late...LAME since doing everything I want may take like 2 hours..i need to get myself a stand so i can do it at home

You cant even do it when you're off the clock? Our boss didnt care if we worked on our own bikes off the clock.

nope...we have two shops, and evidently the people at the other one took advantage of that and were almost always working on their bikes on their days off, or during lunch. Which meant bike stands were always being taken up by employees.
