Sup guys, I know ive been gone for a good while, hope everyone is well. Now down to the question. H22 swaped guys, what kind of experience have you had with aftermarket headers, ie: performance experience with name brand or custom. Some time ago, when I completed my H22 swap I used one of the cheap ebay headers and of course, over time, has turned from Stainless Steel to Gold to Rust lol :eekwtf:, plus it has a huge dent because the down pipe hit a speed bump. As far as the name brand headers I'm leaning toward the Greddy or Mugen, because of there known quality and refined look. As far as the custom headers im looking at the Hytech header because if its anti-revision chambers, race inspired design and super heavy duty construct. Feel free to share any information, if you have experience or good knowledge using these headers or maybe one I haven't named. Here are pics of a installed hytech header and my Accord for those who don't remember me........

iml2001ser from Everything-honda a while ago installed a DTR header and had no problems with clearance. With a 6th gen accord most race header will be a problem with fitment of crossmember or front engine mount. You might be able to mod it to work but I know of maybe 2 or 3 types you can use with out it being a bitch to fit and DTR is one of them along with Kamikaze and a few others. If you want a flat black new 4to1 Kamikaze race header which will fit with no problems I can get you one new for $230shipped from a shop local that has them instock but this is like a big price drop because Kamikaze is not around no more so let me know I can drop you a link to the site to buy it. Mugen is not cheap about $1000 also, Greddy makes a pretty good SS header for about $350 and the megan racing header is doing pretty good which is just a temp header also while the swap was being done. When I get on my work PC I will post more info and pictures of other types I was looking at getting.

iml2001ser made some pretty good power in his NA 6th gen here are the pics and dyno's it sad he had to get rid of the car because of a ref and part out. Also a good race header will not be cheap, with the big names your looking to spend about $1000 for a good race header.

The mods include jdm h22a, act street dist, act lightweight flywheel 12lb, Type S cams, Type R throttle body, Hondata intake manifol gasket, Intake manifold stackers from blacktrax, fuel pressure regulater, fuel rail, full msd, lsd tranny, skunk 2 camgears, no power steering and DTR header put down 208hp and 162lbs of torque.
