Any Good Projector Headlights Out There ?

I bought a set of projector lights from Ebay and the light on the ground is worst than a 1985 Chevy Suburban with plastic yellow lenses.
Then I bought a set of TYC and it wasn't much better, the aiming of the lighting cut off beam is cra ppy. Anyway was wondering since the car has been out for almost a decade I figure maybe a manufacture can make normal lights. I have been using the OEM headlights and I cleared it out myself because I found it to have the best lighting projection. I dont want to start messsing with buidling my own projector headlights. Any suggestions ???

Nope. Stick with OEM's or goto Projector retrofits if you want projectors. Just about every single after market projector on the market for our cars are made with cheap fog lamp projectors.

^^What he said, you will not find any good aftermarket headlights..I had the Halo projectors once, and they were nothing compared to OEM...The best route you can go is Retrofit, but unless you do that yourself it will cost some money..

As for retrofit, the best out there for the money is probably TSX..you could probably find some lights already retrofitted for sale on the boards

not to steal this thread, but quick question, would that be easy to do? like simple swap out and put new projector into place? or it takes as much work as retrofitting into oem housing?

I have had the projector headlights on my car for 2 years. I liked the way they looked and got a lot of comments on them. After awhile I drive my car in the winters and they got very scratched up and got a weird film on the front which would not come off. They then started to flicker a lot and at times the bulbs would just shut off. I had to get out of the car and move the wires around. Then the halo eyes started to fade on one side and looked weird. I ended up taking them out and selling them to someone that did not care. I just bought the TYC headlights and they look very nice. I am going to eventually upgrade the bulbs in them. I think that the retrofits are ok looking and expensive to make yourself. I rather have something that will be noticeable and make the front of the car look very nice like darksideaccord has.

you'd hear more stories of people buying TYC's and throwing HID's in them.

it is possible, but the issue is that you have to fit the projector inside what tyc has made. with an oem retro, you can do what you please since you can mount directly to the reflector and use the stock aiming screws.

this is not to discourage anyone, but im guessing brackets of some kind would need to be made, and then there is the issue of mounting...you dont want it too far back cause there would be a gap etc...
