Any thoughts about this car?

Cooper is too small, GTI is not fun to maintain. imo

and what looks to be an equalizer below it

I like small cars, lol. I almost bought a mini 2.5 years ago, but instead bought this honda that I have now. I still love them and I am small, not too tall, and skinny lol. I also love how you can park almost anywhere lol

But I am not sure about maintenance cost, as it is a BMW.

Well my good friend swears by them (VW) hes had and has a lot. We have a VW passat that has no issues at 250,000 miles. He sold it to my gf so she had a car right. If you maintain the VW it'll last forever. That's the car I'd buy bc I've seen first hand vws quality.

I feel like the Honda's are at a very fair price like chris said.

Mini Coopers are like miatas. 50/50 weight distribution which makes a really fun car with great tuning options. Very light weight as well however vw is my cup of tea.

Matt, what do you think of that 2006 VW? It is top of the line, leather, heated seats, sunroof and all that stuff.

What do you guys think about 2006-2007 VW GTI 6-speed or 2005 Mini Cooper S?

My friends mom had a cooperS. Kinda cool, pretty small, and don't let the "S" fool you, its slow. The GTI is hit or miss. My buddy has one, 07 fully loaded with DSG. He has had to have the AC replaced, and it is now in the shop with engine problems. In my opinion your safest bet is the white accord 2 door.

I love them and want one very badly! My next car will most likely be some form of Volkswagon and I'll most likely say bye bye to Honda's new lineups consisting mostly of epic failures. However if I found a TSX 6 speed for the right price, I would not hesitate to drive that :)

VW's are good cars. Most cars that don't last are due to user error. I SAID MOST not all

You are saying Cooper "S" is slow? Hmm 0-60 in 6.7 seconds isn't slow, plus if you add some mods, like pulley, intake, exhaust it will be around 6.5.

Yeah, that is exactly what I am saying. We are arguing opinions, and in my opinion, if you are knocking at the door of a 7 second 0-60, your pretty slow.

In fact, if you reference www.zeroto60times.com assuming that site is accurate the accord is going to be faster.

What do you call a fast car, for a reasonable price? That accord v6 6-speed is 6.8 seconds 0-60 lol
