I'm not slammed but I've got coupe 16's on my sedan for the cheap tires!! Buying $1000 worth of tires every year gets expensive!!

Holy crap! What tires are you buying? Have you had an alignment?

There is no reason, unless your alignment is off or you drive 40k a year, that you should have to replace your tires that often.

Bridgestone RE-960's mount and balance for just under a grand for 225/40 18's. Lifetime alignment at the firestone place. I wear the tires evenly but I drive 125 miles a day back and forth to work so it adds up. The 16's have been on there for almost two years so it's been worth it.

I had those a number of years ago, they were crap for tire wear. Pole Positions are great for handling and grip but god awful when it comes to longevity

The best that I got was 28k, and the guys at discount tire were amazed that I could wear the tread off a tire without getting into the threads. I'm sure I wasn't too far from them though!

you're paying way too much for getting tires. i can get a set of 16 tires for like $350 mounted and balanced. and found another shop i can get it for less too.
