ok why are you lowering your car?
friendly ride? keep your stock....

aggressive stance? forget about friendly ride....
its either or...you have to compromise both to have little bit of both....

its either do it right, or dont do it at all....
so if you're gonna lower your car for aggressive stance, then coilover.....other wise, keep your stock springs and shocks....they will be friendly.....trust me...

yea, you wont get much of an agressive drop with just springs with these cars, especially that tokico set up. the illuminas are an awesome shock tho, just get like a skunk2 coilover sleeve for them, thats what i had on my old accord, and its a great combo. i got my illuminas off ebay for $365 shipped, and the skunk2 coilover sleeves somewhere else for ~$200 shipped. thats less then $100 more for a MUCH better set up that you can set the car at where ever you want it.

if you want aggressive stance, trust me....you wont be happy with any of drop you get from spring/shock combo....

its like a drug...once you lower a bit, youd want to go lower for even more aggressive look....whatcha gonn do then? forget about ride quality...its not like you're gonn get 'butt-hurt' n e ways...you'll get used to it...

i DD 10f/8r...pretty stiff compare to teins and other coilovers out there....
many members here DD ksports/amr/f2.....
if you're truly function over form, then go with koni yellow + ground control....yes, coilover again....

as far as camber kit....you want aggressive look? that means you're slamming your car....at least closing the gap...you might get away with front, but you are stuck with getting rear camber kit n e ways, since there are no camber adjustment on our stock arm....

but then again, you never really know if you need camber kit or not till you actually drop/get alignment....alignment is something you just never can predict even with same make/model/year/trim....

for a reliable, budget coilover setup, for a good look as well, i would say tokico HP's and skunk2 sleeves would to a damn good job as well. the illuminas are just nicer since you can adjust the damper.

ive been running Tokico illuminas and springs for the past three years and i couldnt be happier.for DD and some spirited driving, i would also recommend a set of Suspenson Techniques sway bars for even better handling. im also on 16 inch wheels w/ a legend single piston brake caliper upgrade and 11.5" prelude vtec rotors w/ ebc greenstuff pads. its all on my 4cyl 5spd coupe. :)

OMG! 11.5" rotors and Legend Calipers. MMMMmmmm.

P.S.
I paid 50$ for the rotors, 50$ for the calipers w/ brackets, and 20$ for a front set of EBC greenstuff pads. Now thats what I call a cheap Big Brake upgrade.
