Was a very wonderful gift from my uncle, and the timing couldn't be better since my 6ga is jumping from one shop to another for repairs :(

Thank goodness for 5-speed.

Needs lots of love as can be seen from the pics. Was given to me mostly to learn how to drive standard, but i've pretty much got it down. Definatly needs A/C first thing and from then i'm gonna see what I can do about making it look like it isn't just a beater.

Comments, critisism, hate, judgment, jelousy. All are welcome

I've always loved the way that model car looks. Congrats.
And don't look at it as "needs some work/love" look at it as "fun new project time. :D"

Not sure yet. Only things i've planned so far is fix the A/C and maybe get some interior work done. To be honest i'm not sure which car to turn into the project now. The 6ga is in better shape visually, but the cb7 is already 5-speed, and is actually drivable right now. When i have both cars at home and in running order i'll make a decision.

Edit: Plus parts for the cb7 are probably way cheaper and easier to find. Idk depends on where you look i guess.

I say make the CB7 a project car.

OBDI, H22A friendly and boost friendly.

Lighter and is already 5 speed.

Either way, have fun with the project.

Wait, why was this car given to you for you to learn how to drive standard, when your 6gen is already standard?

I'd start with a good cleaning of the car. Small things such as fix that front bumper, etc.

Lol my 6th gen isn't standard man. I did the DIY to make auto look like manual, also have gauge overlays that are for standard so you dont see the P R N D4 3 2 1 in the cluster.
And yeah i'm gonna give it a lot of love tomorrow and i've always wanted to learn how to paint and way I figure it already looks like hell so its all good if I mess up. Definatly gonna buy new body pieces first, and don't worry I'm not just gonna rush into anything. I know restoring this car to good looking condition is gonna take time.

You sneaky bastard, you. ;)

Well good luck with the car, it should be a good project car to work with. And if you ever get to the point with it of getting a drop and new wheels, those things go so low it's ridiculous.
