then there would be 37 threads in a row by a noob who won't take "read the rules" as an answer 
the FS section should just have a "you don't have permission to complete this action" screen for people under 50 posts when they try to start a thread...

I like where your head's at Ryan.
In fact, I'd go further and allow noobs to ONLY post in the introduce yourself forum and maybe the member's ride forum until they have 50 posts, or maybe even after 30 days from the date of subscription.
I've seen alot of people just jumping on and posting ads as well as f/s threads and I think something like this would control that behavior.
Just my .02..
