Auto to manual stay obd2 or convert for tuning

i say stay obd2 just in case cuz it was always a bitch 2 pull codes 2 find out whats wrong with my car in my 4 and 5th gen... my cousin has this computer thingy from snap on and it diagnoses potential problems with my car even with out any CEL light thorugh the obd2 port...

actually, its the same two wires if u swap to obd-i

I just turn the key to KOEO, and push the gas to the floor and it tells me my codes... no tools required
