auto tranny flush

    im about to try changing mine tomorrow, i have a v6 too, the bolt is on the driver side for us not the passenger right?

    Nope. That's the only way. Use a skinny funnel.

    Do it, I waited 16 months after buying mine to change the fluid, and that was mainly due to the linear solenoid going out. After seeing the colour (think oil mixed with water, that nasty brown) I'm pretty religious about changing it regularly, mind you, I have the v6, so its pretty much a regular maintenance item anyway... :fail:

    I was wondering if i should do a drain and refill..my 98 has 153k bought it last year with 139k...i noticed when it started getting cold the trans would slip until it's warmed up...i don't know if the previous owner ever had it done
