Iv been talking with my dad about putting front adjustable camber arms on my 99 accord. I said they can be a big problem getting the upper ball joint out of the steering knuckle.
Has anyone had issues with this on our model cars? And if so is there any tricks to getting the tapered part of the ball joint to release??? He mentioned using 2 hammers on each side hitting the steering knuckle to make the taper release abit, is this a good way to do it or do u know of a better way?
Thanks guys jus wanna have it all worked out before I get it apart.

To remove the tapered part right? With all the hardware removed?

I use one hammer, just hit it out.

Bunch of viable options for seperating the upper ball joint from the knuckle. Head over to Harbor Freight and grab yourself a ball joint "fork" press. As for pressing the ball joint out of the upper control arm, PM Got02Accord. Not only has he done it, but he is selling his with I think around 5k on them. They weren't sufficient for how low he wanted to be so...
