Needs more turbo, lol... A t28 @5psi is like an hx35 @1 psi. I've had alot of trial and error in the DSM and sr20 world with turbo sizing. and its all relative to the aspect ratio of the turbo exhaust housing, and the compressor wheel size as to how much air it will move, and how quickly it will do so. PSI of boost is simply the resistance inside the engine, of that air coming out of the turbo not having a place to go so it builds pressure. More psi is not always more power... Having said that, i'm sure the t28 has much more to give, but you will need alot more boost from the turbo to get the volume of air... Not to mention it sounds like your tuner was a Nad, no offence OP. and im certain the gt28r turbos had an internal wastegate setting of 14psi from garrett, but then again it's been a while since i've messed with them... Need pics of set up.
